It's easier than you might think to keep your microwave clean and looking new.

Wipe the window on both sides of the door with a soft cloth. Cleanliness is easier to maintain if this is done frequently.

Simply wipe the touch control panel with a damp cloth, and dry it off. Be sure not to scrub.

Use a damp cloth to carefully wipe spatters off the wave guide cover as soon as they happen. Do not remove this cover for any reason.

The turn table and turn table support are removeable for easy cleaning. You can wash them in mild sudsy water, or place them in the upper rack of your dishwasher. The wire rack and shelf can also be cleaned with hot soapy water.

Your over-the-range (OTR) microwave, it will come with all the necessary installation hardware. Each of our models comes with a complete set of installation hardware.

All of our over-the-range (OTR) microwaves are factory preset to vent internally – it will recirculate the air back into the room. However, it can also be converted to vent externally, or outside, if you prefer.

If this is your preference, please let the installer know before they begin the initial installation and they will share the option that best suits your installation situation.

It only takes five easy steps to change this light bulb.

  1. Pull on your safety gloves, and let's get it done. First, unplug the microwave or turn off the power at the main circuit breaker.
  2. Then, remove the the bulb covering mounting screws at both positions under the microwave.
  3. Remove and replace the old bulbs with 30-watt appliance bulbs.
  4. Reinstall the bulb cover and mounting screws.
  5. That's it! Plug the mircowave back into the power supply or turn the power back on at the main circuit breaker.

Unlike other metal objects, the metal rack included with your microwave is specially designed for safe use. The design takes into account the pattern of microwaves to prevent arching and sparks.

For example: The plastic spacers which hold the rack in place are engineered to keep it from arching against the microwave’s sides. The rack’s tines and outer edges are engineered to form a fully enclosed object, avoiding the open ends that lead to arching.

No other metal objects, including pans, utensils, etc. are approved for use inside a microwave.

Yes. All of our over-the-range (OTR) microwaves are certified by Underwriters Laboratories for use over a gas range.

If your microwave model has a glass tray or turn table, then follow the instructions printed on the popcorn label and place the bag on the turn table.

In some instances, if you have a metal turn table (instead of glass), you do need to set the popcorn bag on a popcorn/bacon plate.

This plate will lift the popcorn bag off of the microwave’s metal turntable, which can otherwise interfere with the metal contained in the popcorn bag.

If the temperature from the range or cooktop gets too hot, the vent fan will turn on automatically to protect the oven. It may stay on for up to an hour.

Touch the vent pad once to turn the fan on high.
Touch it a second time to turn it on low, and a third time to turn off the fan.

Just follow these simple instructions, and you'll have your oven light changed in no time.

  1. First, unplug the microwave, or turn off the power at the main circuit breaker.
  2. Remove the mounting screws, and pull the vent grill away from the unit.
  3. Remove the charcoal filter, if used, by pushing it inwards. Then turn, and pull it away from the unit. Now you can open the light cover by pulling up on the front edge.
  4. Unscrew the old light bulb and replace it with an equivalent, new 30-watt bulb.
  5. Now, carefully push the light cover back into place, then the charcoal filter, and the vent grill.
  6. Be sure to engage the bottom and top tabs. Finally, replace the vent grill mounting screws and you're done.
  7. Remember to plug the microwave back into the power supply, or turn the power back on, at the main circuit breaker.
