The air filter should be checked at least once a month to see if cleaning is necessary. Be sure to unplug the unit before cleaning to prevent shock or fire hazards.

To clean the filter, open the front panel and remove. The air filter is reusable and may be cleaned using liquid dishwashing detergent and warm water.

After cleaning allow the filter to thoroughly dry before replacing. You may also vacuum the air filter to remove excess dirt and particles.
