Steam Bake Apple Walnut Bundt Cake

    Baking Instructions:

    1. Mix flour, baking soda, spices and salt together in a large bowl.
    2. In a separate bowl, mix all wet ingredients together.
    3. Slowly mix wet and dry ingredients together, ensuring not to over mix.
    4. Fold in apples and walnuts.
    5. Pour mixture into an oiled 9-inch bundt pan.
    6. Select Steam Bake mode at 325 degrees. While preheating pour two cups of water into the bottom of the oven. See Complete Owner's Guide for additional steam baking tips! Once oven is preheated place cake in oven. Bake for 50 minutes.
    7. For the glaze, mix all ingredients together. Adjust milk amount for desired thickness.
    8. When ready to serve, pour glaze over cake. Slice and serve!

Cake:

  1. 375 grams all-purpose flour
  2. 1 tsp baking soda
  3. 3 tsp ground cinnamon
  4. ½ tsp nutmeg
  5. ½ tsp salt
  6. 1.25 cups oil
  7. 120 grams sour cream
  8. 250 grams brown sugar
  9. 100 grams granulated sugar
  10. 3 large eggs
  11. 1 tbsp vanilla extract
  12. 360 grams diced apples
  13. 2 cups chopped walnuts

Glaze:

  1. 1.5 cups powder sugar
  2. 1 tsp vanilla
  3. 1 tsp cinnamon
  4. 1-2 tbsp milk
